Welcome MSDWT 8th Grade Students!


Welcome future NCHS Panthers!
MSDWT 8th grades students toured JELCC this week.
Students learned about Career Technical classes that they can elect to take during their high school years.  

As students met with teachers and students they learned that when they enroll into a CTE class, they have the opportunity to:

1. Earn college credits 
2. Earn industry-recognized Certificates 
3. Join Career Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) & compete in state and national competitions
4. Work towards earning an Honors Diploma 
5. Join National Technical Honor Society
6. Experience hands-on learning
7. Participate in clinical experiences at job sites
7. Have FUN while learning!

Congratulations Torch-Bearer Students!


Congratulations to the 100 students who were awarded JELCC's Torch-Bearer Award. This is JELCC’s premier character award! JELCC teachers nominate students who exhibit International Baccalaureate Learner Profile Traits.

The Torch-Bearer Award is a reminder to all of us that those who bear the torch light the way for others to follow their lead!
