Our public restaurant, Light Cafe opens on Wednesday, September 20. You do not want to miss out! We are only a few weeks into the new school year, and you can already smell the aromas coming from Chef Grier and Chef Nehrt’s kitchen. Our culinary students have been busy mastering the art of cookie baking and scone making just to name a couple of culinary delights! Lions and tigers and bears oh my! We are ecstatic this year to have our very own veterinary clinic. On September 6, JELCC will host a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of our very own veterinarian clinic. Please don’t stop the music! Are you tired of the same old stations and looking for something new? Turn your station to 89.3 and listen to our music and sound production students as they rock the tracks on our very own radio station. We have the largest listened to high school radio station and the largest reach for a high school. Students interview guests of their choice on air and also choose the music they wish to play. With so many different schools and personalities attending our school, you can’t go wrong listening to WJEL 89.3.
